How Wix Studio differs from classic Wix

Classic Wix (Editor X) shipped separately-positioned elements on each breakpoint. Wix Studio uses CSS Grid natively, so a single layout adapts fluidly. That means faster builds, cleaner code output, and far better Core Web Vitals — especially on mobile.

When to use Wix Studio (and when not to)

Wix Studio is perfect for design-led marketing sites, service businesses, portfolios and light-catalogue commerce. If you need a fully custom checkout, complex product configurators, or a headless CMS, we recommend WordPress or Shopify instead. We'll always say so in the proposal.
