Fluid Engine in practice
Fluid Engine replaced the classic 12-column grid with a free-form drag-drop canvas that respects a responsive underlying grid. Used well, it lets us deliver bespoke-feeling layouts without the code commitment of Webflow or WordPress. Used badly, sections drift out of alignment on mobile — which is why we insist on design tokens up front.
Where Squarespace design earns its money
Brand-led marketing sites, hospitality (hotels, restaurants, event venues), creatives (photographers, artists, writers), coaches, therapists and portfolio-driven personal brands. If you value visual polish and speed-to-launch, Squarespace is often the right call.

Frequently asked questions
Yes — Squarespace's editor is genuinely one of the friendliest of any CMS. Every project we deliver includes 1–2 hours of client training and a written editing playbook.
7.1 with Fluid Engine — always. 7.0 is legacy and doesn't get the newest features. Existing 7.0 sites can be migrated to 7.1.
